OptiPix Capillaroscopy Lite software is the most basic and cost effective software solution is for viewing and saving capillary images,for the health centres tht have few SSc patients and do not need patient journal system. User can send the save images to hospital clinics or any specialised physician for analysing and opinion. Images taken with OptiPix Lite are pre-calibrated and compatible with advanced OptiPix software for analysing and reporting.

The system includes a sophisticated imaging platform for hand mapping the giant capillaries, micro-bleedings etc. Any finger can be marked as followed up for future examinations, and the images from the previous examinations are easy accessible any time.

In addition to sophisticated hand mapping and imaging tools, many other tools are available to assist and speed up the examination such as, measurements, annotations , multi-category manual counting to count morphological features, including capillaries, micro-bleedings, ramifications.

One of the advantages using a video microscope is to store images compare and follow up. In addition OptiPix Capillary software includes examination summary table for capillary examinations. Capillaroscopic Skin Ulcer Index (CSURI) calculation can be activated from table. |
All of the magnifications are pre-calibrated and can be used to measure important dimensions such as area, circumference or diameter. Each image can be tagged with information such as comments, measurements and other information. All of the data can be saved to later review. The unit is measured in either metric or imperial unit.
The report is created based on capillary images that the physician has chosen. The report is customizable and changes can be saved as a template to reload for later usages. The user creates the first page which can be viewed as a "table of content"-page for images. All of the chosen images are attached to the report with high resolution and is saved as a .PDF or directly emailed.
The software offers additional tools for documenting key data such as anamnesis, current status of the patient and other information for each examination. It is also possible to sign the examination to lock it for any further changes.

In addition to the functionalities and the tools of OptiPix Capillaroscopy Clinic Software, OptiPix Capillaroscopy Research software includes a sophisticated imaging platform for body mapping, for the users conducting research and examination on the other parts of the body. The user may link capillaroscopy images to either a predefined body map or to any macro image. All the spots will be marked with a circle. The focus has been on to visualize the locations of the capillary images in an easy and accessible way.
